jumptomap.com is a new site that lets you create a single, relatively short and non-cryptic URL link to an address, viewable in 10 different online mapping services....You’ll get two links:
- One to a page full of links to the different mapping services, e.g.
http://jumptomaps.com/1860-S-Milton-Rd--Flagstaff--AZ--86001--US - Another to the mapping service considered “best” for your location (Google Maps for the US), e.g.

Click on “Show Many Links”, and you’ll get links similar to the ones above for other mapping services.

...Quale è l’idea invece di Jumptomap? Creare url statiche leggibili, del tipo jumptomaps.com/VIA-MASINI--Roma---Italy e collegarle ai principali servizi di mappe. Nello specifico, il link genera una pagina come questa, dove è possibile collegarsi all’ indirizzo o alla città impostata su Google Maps, Yahoo Maps, Msn, Via Michelin e altri.
Effettivamente questo servizio si rivela particolarmente utile ad inviare indirizzi per e-mail (anche se la maggior parte di questi siti permettono la condivisione di url tramite il servizio dedicato di mailing) oppure a creare collegamenti “puliti” per il sito web o il blog.
